System Engineer, 1

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the daily maintenance and management of information infrastructure such as server and storage clusters, Web Server clusters and database clusters.

2. Responsible for the project management and technical support of the University's informatization construction.

3. Responsible for customized development in the University’s informatization work.

4. Oher tasks assigned by the director.

Qualifications:

1. Embracing the mission and values of Westlake University, strong sense of responsibility, service awareness, and professional ethics;

2. Master 's degree or above, major in Computer Science and Technology or Software Engineering is preferred. Information system management engineer, database system engineer (and above) and other relevant qualification certifications are preferred.

3. Familiar with Linux system and virtualization, Web Server and load balancing, database programming and tuning, and other advanced system technologies, proficient in the use of at least one programming languages such as  Shell/Python/SQL, familiar with the current mainstream Linux operating system, database system, Web Server and its daily operations, strong ability to analyze and solve problems, good communication, coordination and writing skills;

4. 3 years or more of relevant experience, relevant work experience in informatization construction at domestic or foreign well-known universities, large enterprises or organizations is preferred.

5. The qualifications may be relaxed for those who are particularly outstanding or have relevant working experiences in top universities or Sino-foreign cooperative universities.
