The Center of Artificial Photosynthesis for Solar Fuels (CAP for Solar Fuels) is a university level research center dedicated to resolving the challenges associated with solar energy utilization and storage. Their research mainly include: (1) unravel the catalytic mechanism of oxygen-releasing enzyme in natural photosynthesis systems (2) design the state-of-the-art artificial catalysts and devices to achieve efficient water splitting for hydrogen production, solar-driven CO2and N2reductions (3) develop related technologies for solar energy conversion systems.


The CAP for Solar Fuels has 4 PIs and research teams. The director of CAP for Solar Fuels is Dr. Licheng Sun, who is a chair professor in Westlake University and a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the director in coordinating the overall management of the center, including but not limited to:

1. Dealing with both internal and external affairs at the center level, such as organizing conferences, coordinating receptions of visitors, and preparing scientific reports, and other related documents for management.

2. Optimizing the management system of the center, managing the personnel recruitment, finance, and procurement. Daily affairs such as publicity and filing.

3. Responsible for establishing the culture of the center, organizing academic seminars, and coordinating the communications among PIs in both research and resource allocation.

4. Improve the efficiency of administrative affairs and coordinate scientific research work of the center.


Requirements:

1. Ph.D. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, energy, materials, etc. Excellent candidates can excuse the above limitation. Gender is not limited.

2. Administrative work experience for more than 2 years. Excellent skills in communications and teamwork. Candidates with experience in organizing large academic conferences or activities are preferred.

3. Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English, proficiency in office software, solid writing skills, and rich experience in writing scientific and technological documents.

4. Be organized and careful, have good insight, analysis, and judgment ability, strong execution ability, and can work independently in a short period of time.

5. Candidates who can be employed soon will be given priority.
