Research Interests

Several postdoctoral training positions are available to study RNA-based mechanisms of disease. We are utilizing multi-omics approaches and disease modeling in iPSCs to identify novel disease mechanisms with a focus on muscle and neurodegenerative disorders as well as cancer. We are also pursuing approaches for the therapeutic targeting of RNA-based disease mechanisms. The specific project addressed will be jointly developed by the postdoc and the PI depending on mutual interests.

1. A Ph.D. in biological sciences or a related field with a demonstrated record of high- quality productivity.

6. A background in computational biology/bioinformatics is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

For postdocs who successfully apply to the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or the Advanced Programs of Zhejiang Province the Hangzhou Government will provide 1:1 matching of the stipend funds. Postdocs who work full-time in Hangzhou after completing their postdoc training are eligible for an allowance of 400,000RMB from the Hangzhou Government.
