Biography and Teaching

Dr. Li received her B.S. degree in applied biology from the City University of Hong Kong (2011), and Ph.D. degree in physical organic chemistry from University of California Merced (2016). After graduation, she worked at Rutgers University as a postdoctoral researcher in chemistry education till 2021. Dr. Li joined Westlake University in 2022 as a lecturer of chemistry. She is interested in developing active learning activities and technology powered learning tools to improve students’ learning effectiveness. Her work is devoted to deepening students understanding in chemistry concepts and nurturing students’ transferrable skills that are potentially important to students’ future success in career and life.
